This continuing education program introduces S.A.N.E.© (Self-care, Sleep Hygiene, Spirituality, Affirmations, Nutrition, Exercise), a clinician-developed integrative framework designed to support treatment planning, client engagement, and adherence. The program does not present SANE© as a manualized or empirically validated psychotherapy. Instead, it demonstrates how the framework organizes evidence-supported lifestyle and self-management domains that influence mental health outcomes and complement established counseling theories and practices, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT).

Participants will explore how incremental behavior change, cognitive-emotional processes, and wellness-based interventions can be ethically and effectively integrated into the therapeutic process. Emphasis is placed on practical application within scope of practice, use of small, sustainable changes, and alignment with evidence-based principles and professional guidelines.
